Directions From The East

Coming from the East, isn't to bad as you don't have very far to travel. Find your way onto the A14 and head for Cambridge the follow the directions below:

  1. Travel past Cambridge towards the A14/M11 junction, stay on the dual carridgeway and and head towards Bedford on the A428. The dual carridgeway only lasts for another mile or so and heads up a hill, which is a pleasant change from the flat fen land you'll have just left.
  2. This bit of map from multimap shows you where you want to be heading. After getting onto the A428 you'll pass a series of roundabouts, keep going. When you hit the new dual carriageway watch out for the signs for the new Cambourne Junction. Take the Cambourne slip road, at the roundabout at the top of the slip road turn right over the A428 and at the next roundabout take the Elsworth exit to the left.
  3. The launch area is on your left after about a mile and a half and access to it is made via a concrete track about a mile from the village near where the pylons cross the road.
