Directions From The North
If you live in the North West then you have two options, one is to come down the M6 or the M1 and then follow the directions from the West. The other is to cross over onto the A1 and follow the directions below:
- Come off the A1 on the new 4 lane motorway section after Peterbourgh, signposted for Cambridge, this takes you onto the A14. On this section of map from multimap the turning is where the blue motorway forks toward Huntingdon, which is where you want to be heading.
- As you travel round Huntingdon you will get to the Godmanchester junction where you want to leave the A14. Turn right onto the A1198 and head for Papworth Everard.
- Just as you reach Papworth Everard you want to turn left by the pub (Kisbys Hut) onto the B1040. This bit of map from multimap is a close up of Papworth showing where you need to turn off.
- Follow the B1040 for about half a mile and then turn right onto the Rouges Lane towards the village of Elsworth. Drive in to Elsworth and turn right up Brockley Road by The Poacher Public House (it is pink so isnt hard to miss). Drive up Brockley Road looking out for a row of electricity pylons. The concrete track to the EARS launch site is on the right just before the pylons and will be sign posted.
