Directions From The West

Depending on how far West you live you want to try and get onto the A14, the M6 and the M1 both join the A14 at it's start, so if you can get to one of those then you're sorted. Once onto the A14 follow the directions below:

  1. Stay on the A14 until you reach Huntingdon where you will find yourself at a big roundabout. Turn right and stay on the A14 heading towards Cambridge. This section of map from multimap gives you an overview of where you want to be heading.
  2. As you travel round Huntingdon you will get to the Godmanchester junction where you want to leave the A14. Turn right onto the A1198 and head for Papworth Everard.
  3. Just as you reach Papworth Everard you want to turn left by the pub (Kisbys Hut) onto the B1040. This bit of map from multimap is a close up of Papworth showing where you need to turn off.
  4. Follow the B1040 for about half a mile and then turn right onto the Rouges Lane towards the village of Elsworth. Drive in to Elsworth and turn right up Brockley Road by The Poacher Public House (it is pink so isnt hard to miss). Drive up Brockley Road looking out for a row of electricity pylons. The concrete track to the EARS launch site is on the right just before the pylons and will be sign posted.
