06/04/2005 -- Important Announcements from UKRA
UKRA have just made a couple of announcements of relevance to all UK rocketeers. The first regarding progress on the ongoing motor issue and the HSE is good news. The second regarding insurance requirements for flying at UKRA affilated club events has direct relevance to EARS and their launch events.
The EARS committee would like to thank the UKRA council for all the hard work they are doing on their members behalf. The sterling work being done quietly behind the scenes will benefit us all in the long run. We look forward to the day when we will once more be able to fly Aerotech, Cesaroni, the new Congreve motors and possibly even, in time, other US motors. Clarification of the current rather confusing MSER regulations will also be most welcome in due course.
EARS welcome the formal clarification of the requirements for non UKRA members to fly at UKRA events and those run by UKRA affiliated clubs. We would like to ask that all BMFA members and members of other national and international rocketry groups hoping to fly at EARS events please read the latest news on the UKRA website.
