Incoming EARS Chairman's New Year Greeting...

Happy New Year,

My fellow EARS members, welcome to the 2004 flying season of the East
Anglian Rocketry Society

At the December 2003 AGM I was elected your new Chairman to take over from
Roy Trzeciak-Hicks who was suffering from 'Chairmanitis' and decided to
step down. Roy will still be around but now has the time to launch some of
his own rockets.

As usual we are planning a big event in May, Big EARS, along with our
monthly launches on the 1st Sunday of every month.

We are also going to be working on improving our launch support for model
rockets this year with a dedicated model launch platform.

Additionally, our plans include increasing the number of RSO's within the
club and spreading the word about EARS to local model shops with a new
advertising poster.

Hopes are high this year that we will finally have a source of 24 and 29mm
AP motors.

Most of all we plan on having fun.

Our first launch day of the new season is (weather permitting) on
Sunday the 7th of March and I hope to see you all there.

Gary Sinclair

EARS Chairman
